I would ask is a measure of a good leader their ability to navigate the existing system or is it in fact one s ability to see the right path and make the necessary changes to the system so that it can be more effective If those surrounding a person are happy with a system that pays them off in the short term but does not result in lasting or even current improvement to the whole any potential leader who believes otherwise may never get the opportunity to make the right changes.
